Game Genie Codes

The Game Genie is what we used back in the day to cheat on our games. The codes shown here can also be used in most emulators, look for some sort of cheat option. Note: if two codes are listed, then both codes must be entered for the cheat to take effect.

Code	Effect
AVVLAUSZ	Link doesn't take damage.
YYKPOYZZ	Create character with 8 hearts.
NYKPOYZX	Create character with 16 hearts.
SZVXASVK	Don't lose rupees when buying items (you must have at least the amount of rupees that the item costs in order to buy it, you just don't lose them).
SZNZVOVK	Infinite bombs.
ESKUILTA	Wear a blue ring (you don't appear blue, but damage is reduced as if you were wearing a blue ring). If using an emulator, you may have to save your game and restart for this to take effect.
OSKUILTA	Wear a red ring (you don't appear red, but damage is reduced as if you were wearing a red ring). If using an emulator, you may have to save your game and restart for this to take effect.
SZVXASVK AEVEVALG	All items are free (you can buy anything without having any rupees at all).
